Thanks Giving: food for body and soul

So very thankful for food that feeds my body…

…and more importantly, food that feeds my soul.

  1. I was reading the Newbery Award winning novel Shiloh with grandson. The main character Marty Preston wants to keep a dog that doesn’t belong to him (1) because he has fallen in love with him (2) he wants to save him from his abusive owner. Marty’s dad is against the idea because he worries about feeding his own family much less a pet, another mouth to feed. Finally his dad acknowledges keeping him is good for the whole family commenting “Shiloh is food for the spirit.” I loved reading that with GS 1.
About my comment on my site the other day — I found an answer in Jeremiah 29:11.

So...what do you think? Tell me. I appreciate your feedback and read each comment. Thank you!
