  1. I noticed in your previous post, what was on your plate for Easter. We chose ham, too. 🙂

I admire your skill with the camera, how you can focus on one thing, and we can see it so clearly amidst the brush. Truly, if I were there with my camera, folks would ask “Now, where is the turkey?”

  2. We really don’t see wild turkeys that often in our area, do you?? We had one in our yard a couple of weeks ago; Motor Man has lived here 23 years and says that’s the first one he’s ever seen in the yard. (I think it took a wrong turn!)

  3. A week or so before Thanksgiving, 2012 a wild turkey flew out of the bush and across the road about twenty feet in front of our motorcycle (as we were cruising along at about 50 mph). Talk about a heart-stopping moment! I thought we might be having ‘fresh’ turkey for Thanksgiving dinner that year! Great photos.

    • This one was first in our front yard just ambling toward our house but by the time I got the camera, he had already gone out back. I wasn’t able to get too close to him; I used my telephoto lens. But I have to agree with you, Dor, they are beautiful in an ugly sort of way!

So...what do you think? Tell me. I appreciate your feedback and read each comment. Thank you!
