We only have maple trees in our yard with a couple of pines but I was just saying to my husband the other day that I wished we had some oak trees. There are oaks in our area but not in our yard and I miss acorns.
Oh I wish you could too! Autumn up here is so very refreshing. There’s something exhilarating about walking through the golden and red colored woods on a cool, crisp day with the nutty fragrance of fall in the air and the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot. Come on up and we’ll take a wall together!! 🙂
Oh Montucky, yours are going to be beautiful because of the scenic backdrop of mountains you have. I need to take a trip up to our national forest north of us to get some really good pictures of autumn in its glory.
As I told Dianna (see above), it’s kind of spotty here. Some vivid colors on some trees, not so much on others. I saw a friend’s photos taken in WV recently, and they were beautiful, so maybe color is on its way to you?
Gorgeous! Love fall foliage! We’re going to Boston next week, but we might be too late for the peak of foliage there. Might still be pretty good though. Lovely picture.
It’s my favorite season of all, CE. I hope you get to see exquisite color in Boston. The leaves are slowly turning here, so maybe they will be in full blown vividness when you get there. Have a great trip!!
Fall got a slow start here and it’s kind of spotty. Some trees are showing beautiful color like these and then there are some not turning yet or just starting to turn. It will move its way down to you soon, I bet! 🙂
i miss the maple trees now that i live in AZ!
