YES!! We got spoiled over the weekend with temps near 70!! And then – boom! Cold weather again all this week and snow yesterday and today. Still waiting for spring to arrive.
I love that deep golden color and the hope of new life. I am in the northwest and cannot wait till we git a peek of spring from the ground like that any moment now! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, that hope of new life! My purple crocus haven’t popped up yet, but I love to see them mixed in with the yellow ones. Thanks for stopping by, Blessed Pilgrim. I hope spring shows up in your neck of the woods very soon!
We are running behind. Snow again yesterday and today! Aren’t crocuses the sweetest things? Especially when they are the first signs of color and quietly show that spring is on its way….eventually!
They just showed up because we had two very warm days last weekend, but now we have snow again. Last year though, all of my crocuses were blooming already and the daffodils were pushing their way up too. Not this year!
I KNOW!! RIGHT?! Been super cold here all week but a warm-up is due tomorrow and Friday.

Wow! The yellow in that last pic is almost blinding! Beautiful!
Wasn’t it? I hope this year’s blooms look just as vibrant. Right now, they’re covered with snow…again.

Ooh….running a little behind this year! I don’t have any (what’s the plural of crocus…?), but they really are sweet flowers!
