I wish I had another lens to zoom in and get better and clearer pictures from a distance, but these had to do. Our tree with a birdfeeder was full of birds that day. I think I counted 7 cardinals, a couple of blue jays trying to horn in on the party, and several other birds I couldn’t identify. Hungry little fellas!

We don’t see these beautiful birds down here. There’s something about their red in the snow – beautiful!
They provide a lovely spot of color in a colorless world of winter snow. Makes me happy to see them!
